1. About This Page

This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from Comminxy, the private couples communication app operated by Comminxy Private Limited.

You can delete your account yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it for you by email. Both options are covered below.

2. Delete From Inside the App

If you still have Comminxy installed, this is the fastest way:

1. Open the Comminxy app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account is deactivated straight away and you are signed out. Your personal data is then permanently deleted within 30 days, as described below.

3. Delete by Email

If you have already uninstalled the app, email us from the address linked to your Comminxy account and we will process the deletion for you:

• Email: privacy@comminxy.com
• Subject: Account Deletion Request

Please send the request from your registered email address so we can verify it's really you. We will confirm once your account has been deleted, and complete removal within 30 days of verifying the request.

4. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data tied to it, including:

• Your account profile (name, email, phone number, avatar)
• Messages you sent between you and your partner
• Shared memories, photos, captions, and gratitude entries
• Mood and emotional check-in data
• Your partner link / pairing
• Notification tokens and preferences

Deleting your account also removes your side of the partner connection.

5. What We Keep & For How Long

Deletion is not always instant. Here's what actually happens:

• Deactivation: Your account is deactivated immediately, so it can no longer be accessed or signed into.
• Permanent removal: Your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
• Limited retention: A small amount of data may be kept beyond that window only where the law requires it, or for security and fraud prevention. It is removed once that need ends.
• Backups: Copies of data may persist in secure, encrypted backups for a short period before those backups are overwritten.
