This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from Comminxy, the private couples communication app operated by Comminxy Private Limited.

You can delete your account yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it for you by email. Both options are covered below.

2. Delete From Inside the App

If you still have Comminxy installed, this is the fastest way:

Open the Comminxy app. (Uninstalled it? You can reinstall it from Google Play, or use the email option below.)
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account is deactivated straight away and you're signed out. You then have a 30-day window in which your account can be restored — just sign back in — if you change your mind. After that window it is permanently deleted automatically — fully completed within 45 days of your request. See below for details.

3. Delete by Email

If you have already uninstalled the app, email us from the address linked to your Comminxy account and we will process the deletion for you:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Please send the request from your registered email address so we can verify it's really you. Your account will be deactivated and held for a 30-day restoration window — signing back in during that time restores it — and then permanently deleted automatically, fully completed within 45 days of your request.

4. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data tied to it, including:

Your account profile (name, email, phone number, avatar)
Messages you sent between you and your partner
Shared memories, photos, captions, and gratitude entries
Mood and emotional check-in data
Your partner link / pairing
Notification tokens and preferences

Deleting your account also removes your side of the partner connection.

5. What We Keep & For How Long

Deletion happens in stages. Here's what actually happens:

Deactivation & 30-day restore window: Your account is deactivated immediately and can no longer be used. For 30 days you can restore it by simply signing back in.
Permanent deletion: After the 30-day window, your account and personal data are permanently and automatically deleted. Full removal is completed within 45 days of your request.
Limited retention: A small amount of data may be kept beyond that only where the law requires it, or for security and fraud prevention. It is removed once that need ends.
Backups: Copies of data may persist in secure, encrypted backups for a short period before those backups are overwritten.
